Raduga for E-Business Suite Project Managers

Project managers have direct access to the actual development projects that developers are working on. The project manager can review each project's technical details, like its name, type, module, and project references like its owner and responsible owner as well as the connection to the external system. If necessary, the project manager can directly review the objects the project is developing.


In many companies, more than one project manager must approve development projects before they are installed in the production environment. Raduga lets you create approval chains for approving projects of different types for deployment into specific environments. The project managers who need to approve project deployment get email notifications when a developer initiates the project approval process. They can review and approve the pending projects directly in the Raduga system.


After the project is approved for deployment in a specific environment, the developer can upload it to its target environment. 

The log file of development project deployments is available for the manager’s review. It details all steps taken to import project objects into the environment, with their deployment date and status.


The project deployment history is available as an Excel spreadsheet report which the manager can extract from the Raduga reporting database. The report contains project details (project name, type, module and external system) as well as deployment details (environment the project was uploaded to, deployment date, user who performed the deployment, deployment status, and others). There is also a detailed deployment report detailing the objects that were uploaded to the environment.


Project managers often need to have a list of the E-Business Suite custom objects and map them to development projects. This task is critical during E-Business Suite system upgrades. Raduga provides a detailed report mapping all custom objects to their development projects.
